Can CORPSales use the information from my front-end system? | The flexible data sourcing feature within CORPSales gives you the ability to work with most front-end systems to extract and customize data groupings to meet your unique needs. With any other system, you would need MIS assistance to accomplish what you can do with CORPSales.

| Data Sourcing | How can I verify the data that comes into CORPSales to my front-end system? | You can select to create an audit report that shows each transaction that was imported. If you are converting any internal data, such as converting your account codes to those used in CORPSales, the two are shown next to each other making it easy to trace your imported amounts.

| Data Sourcing | How does CORPSales identify which jurisdiction to use to apply the correct rate from my imported data? | CORPSales uses a 2-, 5-, or 8-character Critical Location Code (CLC) to apply the sales and use tax rates. Your source data, however, can include almost any identifier (i.e. Zip Code, geocode, city and county name, etc.) which can then be converted within CORPSales to the correct CLC.

CORPSales can calculate the tax due if you provide the gross sales or taxable sales and exemptions. You can also choose to have CORPSales back-calculate from tax collected to taxable. CORPSales can even be set to calculate the exemption amount from the taxable and gross amounts.
